10 THINGS I'M PROUD OF
...in 2023.
1. Actual Life?
From apartment hunting and moving into New York to being more well-versed in current events, it's been a mindset shift from being a student to being a citizen of the world. Being around different types of people and listening to their perspectives.
2. Learning Network Theory
That was fun.
3. ANW 16
Can't say too much yet. But the winter grind and the game-day mental journey taught me some things that I won't forget.
4. Trader Education
We do some cool stuff.
5. Interns, Interviewing, Recruiting
Somehow I'm on the other side now, just trying to help the younger folks as much as I can and hopefully give some good tidbits.
6. Cardio
Working on an area I always considered a weakness, from running more half-marathon training sessions and a race I feel I pushed myself to the limit mentally to getting back into basketball and sorta swimming. Enjoying the grind.
7. ACL Rehab
Unfortunately I may have actually overtrained and a couple other unlucky coinicidences led to a freak injury. The road back is far from over, but I'm proud to have kept a positive mindset throughout, getting to work, not making excuses, and giving it my best every day.
8. On Hold at Lenox Hill
I loved writing and making this song. It's been theraputic, as with music in general. Just have fun with it.
9. Coding Projects
I do some coding at work too...
10. Friendship
Having fun with old friends, staying close with the family, meeting new people. At the end of the day, it's gotta be the most important thing in life, huh. Especially when things go wrong, it gives you a chance to be grateful for what you have. And it's been a magical year for some people close to me :)
